Thankfully most of the mom groups have banned vaccination and circumcision as topics of discussion because of how ugly it gets

I actually agree with this. However, usually the admin of these groups are big on parenting how you see fit, they fear control in most things, so topic like those are restricted.

In most of the mom groups I'm in, circumcision talk is "banned" but only if you're against it. If you're for it the admins will leave any "where to get it done", "can't wait to get it done for LO" posts and so on up.

Oh wow. You know what, as a admin of a group, I've never thought about how people would perceive the "where to get it done"question and have allowed it. We do however, post a caution comment warning against debate and only allowing advice on where to get it done.

Seems hypocritical to allow pro circ talk but not anti circ talk

I think we’ve always thought of it as the mother trying to find a safe solution without seeing the hypocrisy, since my group is a military spouse mother’s group, but you are right

Safe solution to what?
