baby boys are being circumcised at birth and living their whole lives almost completely desensitized and we have the nerve to question and wonder why they grow up to be men who are not in touch with their bodies or emotions/feelings... ok.

Like I can understand this point but I think men’s emotional and physical outlooks don’t have so much to do with dick skin getting caught off and more about the standards boys are held to on a societal platform...

You dont think there is a deep connection that all humans have between body and mind? Do you think sexual energy doesn't affect us all at a very deep level?

No I understand the point being made entirely. But I don’t think that’s the amplified cause of men’s “problems”

Of course its not the main or onpy reason. But its setting men up for the other deeper issues right from jump

I mean I can see that for sure. I really don’t know how I honestly feel about the topic. On a medical basis . And is every man necessarily effected by it? Or are the glad about it ? Per say

Would you like to have had your genitalia clipped or cut s a babt with our your knowledge ..especially if it wasn't really necessary and made you less sensitive? Think of it like that. It would be a bigger deal if it was happening to women large scale

! I don’t really understand why it’s cut off then... because of religion? And would it necessarily make it a big deal for the female anatomy if it was normalized as circumcision is? Bc I haven’t even thought about this being a real issue until the idea was presented in this post

The extra skin was said to carry more germs and could lead to irritation inflammation etc. Basically its harder to clean...but you coukd just teach a young boy how to clean it. Is it a huge deal? Maybe. Point is it does affect the sensitivity bc less nerve endings.

Okay...well this has been extremely informative. If my child is a boy I might just have to reconsider what is socially acceptable for the sake of the sanity of my little human. Lord knows I want my son to embrace himself full circle!

Just let him decide later. And make sure the nurses don’t forcibly retract the foreskin. Its naturally fused to the glans until ~puberty sometimes later
