The vast majority in the USA are done by obgyns or pediatricians.

Exactly. You're talking about a woman's body being controlled by others, losing the right to choose based on other people's beliefs. You can be against both, but they're not the same issue. Circumcision is a great topic, but it's disappointing anyone would bring it up this way.

This seems disingenuous to me. Women are correctly freaking the f out over men deciding what women can legally do with her own body. Yet a man is wrong for speaking out against genital mutilation? Come on now. Are they exact equivalents, no, but they are about self determination.

Nobody said that. Of course men can speak out, and they should. They just shouldn't compare the situations or act like its women making these decisions. That's bullshit.

You know there are plenty of women against abortion too. Its not just men telling women what to do

Yes, just like it's not just women choosing to circumcise babies. Their choice is protected, and one parent can prevent the procedure if he or she wants.

Also, whose choice is protected? Certainly not the choice of the child. I am highly skeptical if sny court in US would rule in favour of NOT cutting a child given how normalized it is there, and how much money is made from selling foreskins there

This is getting tiresome to keep relying to the same argument because people aren't reading through all the responses.
