I care if people circumcise their female children so as the limit their sexual capacity. There's a strong distinction between male and female circumcision in that male circumcision, no matter how immoral, does not impact the sexual capacity of a child's future in the same way.

You don't actually know that. There's no dotted line, no "right" amount to cut. If by "sexual capacity" you mean the bare ability to obtain an erection and ejaculate, you are usually right. But if you mean the ability to experience all the pleasure available, you're always wrong.

I don't know much about this issue. But FGM in some manifestations is INTENDED to decrease sexual capacity. For baby males it's a practice that has never been followed to decrease sexual capacity.
