Circumcision might be useful if you're living in an impoverished country without stable health services, clean water, little safe sex, etc. thereby making cleaning the foreskin difficult. We don't have that problem in the first world, however, so of course there's no need for it.

Think deeper. If you live in that impoverished country, an open wound on your penis is a huge risk. We don't worry about infected wounds because we *do* have clean water, sterile dressings, and antibiotics. Also, the science on supposed "benefits" is actually pretty dubious.
