Circumcision is a surgical procedure that confers actual surgical risk to the male infant. Condoms are far more effective than circumcision in preventing HIV and other STDs so why is there a need for such an invasive and permanent surgery. Condoms prevent unwanted pregnancy too.

Many men get it done when they’re adults and it fucking hurts. It’s called being proactive dumbass, my parents did me a favor.

It hurts the child more. Inflicting pain on a child to spare that pain to an adult is blatantly unethical. It is also almost never needed or wanted as evidenced by the extremely low lifetime circumcision rates in many parts of the world that don't forcibly cut infants.

I ENJOY being circumcised. It makes hygiene easier (uncircumcised men can still be hygienic) and correlates with modest health benefits (reduced std rates, less UTIs. My circumcised penis is ART, can’t hate the artist or the masterpiece

“Full function” is not an issue
Circumcision when done properly is not disfiguring and mildly beneficial. Foreskins were evolutions way of protecting penises when people wore less clothes, therefore less needed in modern times.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

It diesn’t take a rocket scientist or a male brainto realize that cutting off the most sensitive part of the penis (see study above) decreases sensitivity.
