On some men it is.

There are men regularly getting half of their penis cut off as small children. I hadn't heard of that. I will go look it up.

The amount of skin removed varies. You can about how much skin was removed proportionately on an adult by the scarring.

Been looking and cannot find anywhere where male circumcision includes cutting off half of the whole penis not just skin.

It is not meant to, but it happens. Docs make mistakes. The foreskin is an entire organ on the outside of the shaft not "just skin." It keeps the glans moist and helps w/ lubricate during sex.

Those are called accidents or mistakes. FGM is usually cutting off all external genitalia and sewing it up so only a small opening is made for over the vagina for menstruation and urination. They aren't even opened up before sex. Most women cannot enjoy sex because it is painful.

I am aware. There are usually 4 kinds of FGM. Sometimes it's ceremonial cut. Sometimes it is a lot more. Some men have a hard time enjoying sex which is why they thrust so violently.

The 3rd and 4th kind are the most common in FGM. I never said that male circumcision was a good idea or fair to men. They both are a product of men.

No, they are a product of backwards bronze age thinking. Lets not turn the fight for bodily autonomy into man vs woman.

Men circumcise other men and men want "pure" brides. Both male circumcision and FGM are done because of men.

thats not entirely true. In many places women are in charge of the girls circumcision.
