Sorry. It’s just not one opinion fits all. Many on the male circumcision side don’t agree with you on that. Female general mutilation on the other hand is, in most cases, criminal.

Yes, and look up history what kind of debates were fought before it was seen as criminal. RIC is purely cultural embedded. No medical necessity given. FGM was legal in the US until 1997

The arguments you give me now (“my opinion“) are the very same battling the ban of FGM

There is very little comparison between the two. Sorry. Circumcised men are not complaining, and certainly not raising up enmasse to ban circumcision. It’s a made up issue.

You are deliberately trying to diminish the issue. Again: why inflict this on a helpless newborn when it is perfectly good to wait until he can decide on his own?

I am NOT voting for a full ban like FGM (you cannot consent to this even as an adult). I just want a ban to do it to children.

No. Circumcision is performed as a newborn. You know as well as I do, if you wait till males are 18 it becomes a much bigger deal and in most cases won’t happen. At that point it’s too late.

Did you hear yourself? When it isn't happen as an adult and there are obviously no problems (european men are intact) then why force babies to it at the risk of disfigurement and death?

It IS a big deal in infants though. The pain is incredible, the healing takes at least two weeks and yeah a bloody open wound in a dirty diaper us SO hygienic.

I have two sons. Both circumcised. No complications whatsoever. You’re fear mongering and making it sound much worse than it is.

The complication is that the most sensitive part of their penis is gone. The glans is unprotected and their rights were violated
