Physicians who use social media to shame intactivists, those who advocate against circumcision, or to ridicule those suffering from chronic pain, have a shocking disregard for their patients and are completely devoid of compassion, understanding, and basic human decency.

It's weird that intactivists are against a procedure that has less approximately 0.2-0.6% adverse outcomes, most of which are just post op infections. This is far less than many other medical procedures, even other elective procedures.

For what benefit? If condoms weren’t invented yet, circumcision would make sense. But now that we have condoms, we know they reduce HIV and other STD transmission rates far more effectively than unprotected sex with a circumcised penis. Circumcision is not modern medicine.

According to the systematic review I've read, as preventative medicine it's benefits outweigh the drawbacks. According to the same paper, serious adverse effects are anecdotal. This of course doesn't mean they can't be serious but they are in no way prevalent.

No other developed country in the world performs non-religious infant circumcision. Our reproductive health and STD transmission rates are not better and are actually worse than many parts of Europe. Why don’t we perform prophylactic appendectomies and cholecystectomies too?

That's 100% incorrect. Australia does and was the 1st country I looked up. The difference between circumcision and prophylactic appendectomies etc is local vs general anaesthesia and the risks inherent in each. Also, as you know, the gall bladder has useful function

yes the gall bladder also has a useful function. All parts of your body have a useful function. Evolution does not waste energy creating and maintaing useful organs. The forskin is a useful, important sexual organ and should not be damaged or removed. Its really very simple
