Would’ve loved to see more justification regarding the exposure time chosen — I don’t think 4 hours of constant exposure limited to 5 days a week is a good model for human smokers — solid paper but as always with mice, lots of questions related to translatability

I think the folks behind this basic study may not be concerned with translatabity at this stage. It could just be a mission on possibility confirmation & the biological underpinnings. I'll give them due credits while encouraging more robust, advanved studies to be carried out.

Yes totally agree — would just add that perhaps some kind of justification here could perhaps be a useful starting point for future authors

Seems pretty face valid for most juulers that I know, at least. Two friends of mine had to refill pods once every day or every other, which requires a few hours of puffing at least.
