Making it more inconvenient and expensive to raise children means a lower birthrate and a shrinking tax base. If it's not easy for Americans to raise the next generaton of taxpayers, that hole needs to be filled by immigrants.

Higher wages would help alleviate both the cost of and the need for daycare. Stopping illegal immigration will cause wages to go up. Sounds like we have common goals!
