Well yeah the one in the Excelsior I used to get the quesadillas years ago and I'd eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Guadalajara Market #2, San Jose. In all my many years of burrito, nothing can touch it.

Dude, San Jose is where its at with everything cuisine related. The best breakfast burrito I ever had was at Chavez's.

However. I will not be going to San Jose. Even for a great burrito. Though I will go to Sonoma for pizza.

No I mean I only go down there when I have to but damn the Chinese and Mexican/Salvadorian is off the charts. Come from La Bamba, get real Mainlander Chinese with Golden Buddha. Berkeley needs to renounce its "gourmet ghetto" neighborhood.

La Bamba on Rengstorff is no more from what I am told. That place was a mainstay and very, very, good

It’s definitely still around. You might be thinking of the one on Castro which closed years ago. It’s good, but Sancho’s is a bit better ;)
