i don't believe i've heard of SF DSA supporting prop 13 (indeed iirc i saw @uhshanti say she donates to organisations that oppose it) but if anyone supports prop 13 i very strongly disagree with them

Literally no one in DSA has ever supported Prop 13. Please search my handle and "Prop 13" for more information

It’s not because you aren’t a yimby I honestly have never seen you say you explicitly support prop 13 repeal which if you do would be a good project for dsa and yimbys to work together on

In the tenant movement, opposition to Prop 13 has been a given for 40 years. It was supported by the realtors and landlords, however. Howard Jarvis was the lobbyist for the LA apartment owners association.

One interesting finding of the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project was that a lot of new vacant luxury housing in SoMa is pied-a-terres for folks in the burbs

Only 13% of new condos in SF without hotel/concierge service are pied-a-terres. (Condo-tels have more, but are uncommon: only 13% of the total units.) Source: http://www.spur.org/sites/default/files/publications_pdfs/SPUR_Non-Primary_Residences.pdf … figure 4
