Of course, it’s an opt barrier for a static compiler. I wish we had some middle ground where most things are static but some opts (dynamic const prop would be huge) are lifted to runtime—single-shot JIT points. Heck, devirt alone, w/o any further work, can make a big difference.

ObjC makes it /really hard/ to allow devirt /ever/ because of method_exchangeImplementations and similar.
