"Mission Bay homeowners are upset, saying they paid high prices to live there and shouldn't have to worry about their safety if homeless people with mental health issues move into the area." Tell me again how we don't need a by-right process... http://www.kron4.com/news/video-homeless-housing-proposal-near-att-park-in-san-francisco-worries-homeowners_20180130062747626/945140922 …

I live in Mission Bay. There are *already* homeless people next to the Caltrain tracks all along 7th street. Homelessness is a city wide problem, they moved to this city, it is now their problem. Putting the homeless in homes is the actual solution.

That’s really disappointing, given that if the NIMBYs had their way then Mission Bay, and their condos, wouldn’t exist to begin with.

Mission Bay NextDoor is the worst social network in history. Half of it is people in BRAND NEW BUILDINGS complaining about the construction noises in buildings that are less than 2 years newer than the building they live in.

I can only hope Dogpatch will be better. (Not holding my breath.)
