I’m confident that GPUs are the future of typography. It’s not even that hard—people better at graphics than I am could have gone faster.

One problem is that lens distortion correction and subpixel AA do not easily mix as implemented today. I have ideas for this.

Another obnoxious problem is that conservative rasterization is more annoying to achieve when you have perspective transforms.

Well yes, aside from the thing that makes it very different and interesting :) What type looks like from the side, at an angle, from behind etc is going to become more important I think
