idk if you had to cut this, but related to off-main-thread: WR also moves tons of code off-main-process, which improves stability+security.
How does IPC with sandboxed processes work in servo? Is there a crate?
aiui Servo doesn’t have multiprocess yet. It just pretends and ipcs the display list to itself.
I know @pcwalton was working on gaol for this, but idk what the status ishttps://github.com/servo/gaol
Oh if you were asking about actual ipc impl it’s https://github.com/servo/ipc-channel … but my understanding is it’s a very minimal impl
I wouldn’t call it “very minimal” at this point. It’s gotten a good amount of testing since if it fails the Servo CI breaks.
Is there anywhere I can ask questions about this lib? Is moz irc the best place?
I think #servo on http://irc.mozilla.org would probably be the best place
Thanks
