Anyone have any info on how macOS glyph thickening works by any chance? (It makes fonts thicker as a pre-pass for sub pixel AA…)

This post doesn’t seem accurate from my testing…the dilation is actually scaled to the font size but capped at 0.3 px.

Looks like it’s a 2.42% increase in width/height, up to a maximum of 0.3px.
