Lesson learned: There are lots of cool algorithms for Bézier curves out there and they will all kill you with floating point error.

The quadratic formula (actually, the “Citardauq Formula”) is an exception, yes. (That’s why Pathfinder 2 uses it) :)

Pathfinder 2 is kinda similar except it’s asymptotically better because it only considers pixels inside the curves’ bounding box/convex hull
