Arial at 200px is 17.722µs/glyph, Wild Wood is 35.9µs/glyph. 2x slower but same order of magnitude for frame budget.
Mate, you really gotta back up “as fast as any other font”. If other fonts use 10% GPU and this uses 25%, still 60fps
