I'm flattered, but may I ask why? If you're on GPU compute the HW normally handles swizzling automatically (and transparently).

I’m using OpenCL on Mac and I need atomic image writes, but CL 1 doesn’t have them (nor does Metal). So I use a SW swizzled buffer
