why don't we just get rid of inheritance everywhere?
@c4milo Inheritance can still be useful. e.g. when implementing the DOM, you want shared fields and virtual methods.

@pcwalton but it seems like a recognized pattern that inheritance does more harm than good to be a first class citizen in a programming lang -
@c4milo Now if I have a node n I can't do n.firstChild.tagName to get the tag name of its first child. Can't downcast or use virtual methods
