I need a special instance of Firefox which is configured to use my laptop's discrete GPU just to visit http://shadertoy.com . If I use it for my default Firefox instance, the steady-state fan speed is super high even if I'm doing nothing graphically intensive.

The obvious (?) solution is to let you configure your GPU preference per website but as far as I know that still isn't supported by any of the browser vendors.
