      have any of you happened to build standalone ANGLE yet? they recently made the build system much more complex and i never managed to update my CMake scripts successfully after that

      Did they switch to gn? *looks* Awesome. We had a hell of a time with Firefox build integration when http://webrtc.org  did. There was no standalone way to acquire or even build gn, their custom build frontend that they wrote *in C++*.

      everything about gn i've heard from googlers sounds quite good but the name of the tool accurately describes the sound i make when i am forced to work with it i think it's easier to use than before though

      I’m still incredibly sad that Node’s solution to gyp being terrible has been to take over maintenance of it instead of killing it

          npm has a loooot of gypfiles, it’s a tough spot but like a lot of JS legacy one that stems from choosing leaky public APIs
