NanoVG basically has “blurry rounded rectangle” as a single-pass drawing primitive and it’s kind of embarrassing how big a performance improvement it is for typical UIs.

(BTW, it doesn’t even try to be an accurate Gaussian blur; it’s “blurry-ish”. Ah, the joys of not having to follow a spec…)
