I learned today that people used to use double as a workaround for not having int64_t for blitting in C and I really wish I hadn’t learned that

I’m sure originally the author just missed the * and then started adding casts until it compiled. But since the allocator always gave page-aligned pointers it actually works (on 32-bit anyway)
