At one point, we got complained at for *not* all being on the same page before meetings. Would Googlers disagreeing with each other in public be a better state?

(Google’s response to my Houdini objections was to get me in a room with several other Googlers and nobody else and not listen to a word I had to say. I decided it was not worth my time after that.)

And it's not the only time something like that has happened: there have been a number of occasions where those of us outside of Google have been told, "but you could've engaged with us! raised these concerns!", yet every single time we try and engage it's just being spoken over.
