    XSetErrorHandler() may be the worst API I have ever seen. Every time I look I find more horrors, from the lack of a context parameter to the useless int return type to the lack of stable error codes for extension errors to the lack of thread safety to the fact that it even exists

        Injectable/settable error handling is a terrible pattern. Expose well named errors and have the user handle them, if errors should be handled within a package, it should be handled in the package and not exposed. They're also an example of how good patterns can be antified.pic.twitter.com/mfCqaTTg53
