I don’t think Wine, I think Windows itself would be abandoned by Microsoft very soon in switching their users to Linux. Windows was just an old, failure operating system. It is vulnerable, expensive, heavy weight, and not server/cloud friendly (even Azure runs Linux I think)

If you have basic notions of software development, old and maintained software is robust, especially when it has been exposed and used by the vast majority of users. Also, some news for, Linux is also quite old, and is one of the resons why it’s robust too
