Is anyone aware of a regex system that supports (to some level) CJK word boundary matching?

Awesome! I didn't know about this library. Thanks, Patrick!

The more modern version of it is https://github.com/k-takata/Onigmo , which is the engine that Ruby uses internally. In general, when it comes to CJK support, look at what Ruby does or speak to the people there. They know the topic well.
