If I had infinite time, I would write Shader Rust: a complete Rust-like GPU compute ecosystem, including std to formalize CPU sync and transfer, compiling to SPIR-V. All written in Rust, of course. Can someone else do it, please? k thx

Are we serious now?
I am willing to allocate time towards this project, as would my friend @JasonHise64 (since he just told me). It would be a significant undertaking, but the idea of an integrated Rust GPU environment fills me with emotion.
