Rebuttal: use languages you enjoy programming in. Write code instead of “My language is better than yours” blog posts

Having started with Algol, it's very apparent that fave rave languages all go out of fashion. If you can genuinely program, the language becomes incidental.

I find posts "I use xxx, it is better than yyy" strange, when it is from strong lovers of "xxx". If I would like smth, I will write posts just about "xxx". But no one will ever read post about "C is cool" today, you need to add something to get attention

I really wish everyone would stop writing blog posts of this nature. "Competition" between programming languages is a waste of time and only ends up harming people.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
