Really good article from 2012: http://sstephenson.us/posts/you-are-not-your-code … At this point I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve just thrown up my hands and said “you know what? That code I wrote years ago is awful. Please feel free to rewrite it.” Never regretted doing so.
