Reminder: when trying out a new Xcode, turn off warnings-as-errors. If your code has a mistake, it's not worse than it was last week. #WWDC19
(This is an oversimplification because new compilers might make new assumptions, but it's close enough for trying things out.)

FWIW, I'm against -Werror in general, because you don't know what warnings the compiler will be spewing. What we do in HarfBuzz though is to enable error for specific warnings that we know our codebase should be clear of. You probably hit this one:?https://github.com/harfbuzz/harfbuzz/issues/1740 …
