I agree that our understanding of C has progressed. We’ve come to understand that it’s a horribly outdated language and maybe, just maybe, we can do things better in 2019 than a language from 1978.

Saw that… I am speechless while reading this line by line. Calling years of research on embedded system optimizations as "engineering-masturbation". Calling off the gain of pipelining and many other features of risc by saying, basically "…don't support". My mind is blown away…
