Yes. It was scientific libraries, but we shipped OpenMP-enabled and -disabled versions. The enabled version was the default because our compiler was the same. I admit it was very niche since it was HPC only.

Curious why you have mixed feeling about it? Our code is generally C++11, so OpenMP seemed the best option

I've used it pngquant (as
