Meanwhile, Rust's operator precedence so often matches what I want that I end up feeling strangely exposed with all those operators and no parens.

Rust is pretty close to my ideal, though separating | and ^ is iffy.

I get burned with the precedence of “..” for range operators, though it’s always been caught in typeck (and I’m not sure it’s wrong, because I’m not sure my intuition is consistent)
