macOS’s “Apps Using Significant Energy” list does a good job of listing Apple’s browser competitors but a poor job of listing the background process constantly spinning at 100% CPU.

I mean…all other browsers are at a disadvantage because of the low-level integration with Core Animation that Safari has (compositing is the largest energy usage impact), but I dunno about explicitly… It’d be nice if the formula for Energy Usage were documented, though.
