Being low-level it requires too many moves to achieve something. Why not use something less verbose for small programs? Or you need to do some MVP/PoC which requires direct usage of Vulkan?

Yeah, I gave up quickly and moved to WebGL. Perf doesn’t matter for this.

There was a good conference slide on the evolution of OpenGL that showed how much easier it is to write 100 lines of setup code versus just calling glBegin(GL_TRIANGLES) and glVertex3f()
