Argh tried an SVG design that runs smoothly in Chrome but Firefox janks in a big way. (Yes, up-to-date nightly.) It feels like this always happens. What does Chrome do that is so much better?

Probably cuts corners on the spec, if my experience is any guide. :) Use Nightly and grab a profile with the Gecko Profiler? Should be straightforward to at least figure out why.

For what it’s worth it would be easy to add support for <circle> to WebRender and make this really fast. (WR can already render circles.)

Does it do any SVG at all so far? I'm still holding out for WebRender (have high hopes). This will have other various arcs as well (semi-circles).

WR doesn’t do any SVG yet. Pathfinder should fix this…eventually
