    Contempt of Congress is an obstruction crime, carries a $100k fine & up to 1 year prison sentence. Time for the House to issue contempt citations, have the Sergeant-at-Arms bring to the floor of the Chamber every Trump official who refuses to honor a lawful subpoena & jail them.

    Impeachment hearings would drown out all of the noise for a while, and focus the media’s attention on Trump’s lawlessness and contempt for the Constitution. It would also signal to future authoritarian Presidents that “nobody is above the law” isn’t just a hollow platitude.

    THIS. You can impeach him a dozen times already without needing to deal with anything Russia related yet. Dems could effectively end his presidency by impeaching him for one thing every few months until the GOP removes him or he loses the election.

    You do not get only one shot at impeachment. You get as many shots of impeachment as there are impeachable offenses. They should be impeaching him every day until they run out of offenses.
