Are you playing in normal? Forget about survival for now... That's like hard difficulty in NMS. Shame you refunded just because you don't understand the mechanics... The tutorial is pretty clear, it's just about reading... And then game becomes a lot easier when you adquire tech

I tried it yesterday for the first time since the day after it was released. I'm finally happy with the game. It could run a bit better but it's taken them 2 years to give us what they initially promised.
