You know that feeling of: 'Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before'? It only lasts until the next one comes along. That said, I have a feeling this 'next one' is going to stay with me for a very, very long time. Commendable professionalism from the service colleague.

Never underestimate the power of visibility and representation whether it be in institutions that were too long denied us (insert relevant group), professions, toys, or any other power base or tool that the powerful use to preserve their privilege. Dare to disrupt and inspire.

My favourite moments are with my little 'monsters' in the bleak midwinter. They help you know that you're getting old (apparently) when 1) you can't keep up with their energy outdoors, and 2) you can't bear to watch the amount of sugar they can consume at the dessert diner 😱😱

Do you work in the NHS? Can you spare 1 hour in 2019? Why not sign up to give a school talk and help inspire children and young people to work in the NHS?

NINE percent - yes 9% - of Labour members strongly oppose the way Corbyn is handling Brexit. Not quite the impression you get from the media is it?

Arundhati Roy: "People spend so much time mocking Trump or waiting for him to be impeached. And the danger with that kind of obsession with a single person is that you don’t see the system that produced him."

Happy to hear has been successful in its bid for development funding. This amazing library, art gallery, and museum is where I first learned to read and where I discovered people like me represented in art

Nice thing about it being school holidays and not yet 7am is that the children (not mine!) are still sleeping so I don't get to hear any of them bellow: 'Yas queen' or the like to one another as if they're on some daft game show. PS article makes no sense

Flawed to make (c. 50 p/a) UK forced marriage victims pay upfront for rescue or take loan. They often end up destitute on return so how does it help them escape traumatic abuse & human rights violation? Think again
