I've been pulled over three times in such circumstances and I found each unsettling. Which is to say that I wouldn't ever want to get in a car if I had to deal with this as frequently as Joel describes.

Good point. And, something I don't understand is the knee-jerk defensiveness. For example, when DJT used kneeling football players to whip up the bigots, a man I know proudly stopped watching NFL games. I asked, has it occurred to you to find out *why* they're kneeling? Crickets.
