To create this a still from the original video was uploading to dall-e’s outpainting canvas. I then erased a little bit off the top of the building, generated an extension and repeated this step over 40 times

Out-painting is magic but it's also tedious. The original image is extended one small square at a time and I'll often erase and try again multiple times. Probably generated hundreds of variations of squares and in painted details within each square to extend this image

Outfit swapping is an effect I’ve done in my work a few different ways. Al has made this digital effect much easier and more complex but doesn't replace the need and quality of practical effects. Nor does it replace actual designers

Slow down the 8 fps image sequence so it syncs up with the 24 fps original video. Interpolate the frames with twixtor and comp the dalle sequence onto the cleaned up background plate

To create this, the shot had to be tracked in 3D to create a moving mask that matches the camera move. The frames are exported out as pngs with transparency. Dall-e then fills in the gap of the transparent hole. The images are sequenced together and slowed down
