    Anyone know of a style Markdown WYSIWYG plugin that just dresses up a standard HTML Textarea rather than replacing it with complex divs etc? Expected to find loads, but they're proving elusive.

    TIL that libraries get charged £1,050 for a three simultaneous readers ebook that costs £41.99 individually

    There's another which is a comparatively pricey £41.99 on Kindle. The price to us, for 3 simultaneous users? A mere £1,050. There's a book we need which costs £51.99 per paper copy. Quite a lot, right? To us, for an ebook which only three of you can read at once: £1,050.

    I’m just super tired of the way children’s mental health is being talked about only in relation to the dichotomy of open/closed schools. Like we couldn’t prioritize other social engagements for them, or emphasize family contact networks or *something* that isn’t just school.

    Excellent advice. Something I've definitely not got right in the past...

    What you tolerate in your community says more about your community than what you don't. Be mindful of edgelords and slippery slope scenarios — oftentimes what you think is one-off, isn't. Come ready to listen, empathize and understand. Don't be afraid of the word "no."
