I'm really puzzled here - didn't a majority of farmers deliberately *vote* to give up their subsidies and their access to EU labour?
Many farmers did, as they thought @Conservatives would match subsidies, & they would still get access to #SingleMarket. They were betrayed

Can't magine why they thought subsidies would be matched, as it was absolutely clear that the entire £350m/week was promised for the NHS.
