I'm really puzzled here - didn't a majority of farmers deliberately *vote* to give up their subsidies and their access to EU labour?

@Conservatives would match subsidies, & they would still get access to#SingleMarket. They were betrayed -
Can't magine why they thought subsidies would be matched, as it was absolutely clear that the entire £350m/week was promised for the NHS.

Honestly, I've never met a lazy farmer. It's an exceptionally hard job, requires long term investment, & you get no time off
