WiFi232 is sold out. Taking a break now from production-- it's been lots of work. Will revisit soon and announce new info here.

A third option: increase the distance between the triangles leaving white space (or white lines). CMY hatched spaced Delaunay triangles on waves. 9 hours 48 mins on 24”x36”

Something interesting happens with light at low angles on this plot. The black outlines become reflective.

Thanks everyone for your comments and feedback. Y’all are great! Definitely some take aways here and some new directions to try.

99 smartphones are transported in a handcart to generate virtual traffic jam in Google Maps. Through this activity, it is possible to turn a green street red which has an impact in the physical world by navigating cars on another route!

So the 1351 mouse seems to work but mysteriously stops— then starts working again. For minutes at a time. I’m puzzled. Could it be a faulty controller (MOS5717)?

I clipped out the 22k at R7 and used a resistor substitution box to find a replacement value. I settled on 56k. Retest on the scope and it looks much better.

Measuring the four outputs at the pull down resistors on the scope we can see the voltage changing as the wheels spin. All look good except R7 looks low. R6 and R7 are the X axis (L/R).

There are four phototransistors that receive the IR light through wheels with slots. Each also has a corresponding pull down resistor. Theory is the values of these are chosen at the factory to tune the output voltage. Time to get the scope out.

Continuity test on the cable checks OK. To test the IR LEDs I had to use an old iPhone (the new one blocks too much IR to be visible) and they are illuminated.

I found a great repair log for the Commodore 1351 that describes some things to test.

This Commodore 1351 mouse for used to work great. Now it doesn’t seem to move left. Time to take it apart.

Do you like the triangles outlined in black or no?

Some more CMY Delaunay hatched triangle waves with black outlines, this one modulated with Perlin noise. 1.71km in 183,716 lines, 10 hours on 24”x36”

I think I damaged the original SID by wiring it to my iPhone mic port to live stream some demos one day. I’ve never tried that again.

Needed a new SID for my SX-64 so took a risk and bought three. Happy to report these three SIDs have all voices and filters functioning great. Next to check the two ADC ports.

Same idea: wavy CMY Delaunay triangles but turned 90° and outline in black. This looks so different far away vs close up, which I love. The numbers: 8h 31m, 158,520 lines, 1.42km of pen travel on 24”x36” watercolor

Implemented a bit more order to the triangulation this time which I think gives it a sense of movement. 7 hours 50 mins, 151,366 lines, 1.18km pen travel on 24”x36”

Another CMY shaded Delaunay shaded triangles from my back catalog. This one has some depth to it that I liked. Just over 9 hours of plot time, 187,435 lines, 1.28km of pen strokes on 24”x36” watercolor on a HP DraftPro DXL
