And totally justified. At this point we arguably do not have a legitimate president or administration. 1/http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/trump-comey-firing-senate-democrats-on-strike?utm_content=buffer34dac&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer …

We don't know the whole truth here. But the point is that Trump is trying to prevent us from finding out 2/

This is a clear violation of the spirit of his oath of office, and probably the letter; he is setting himself above the law 3/

He deserves no presumption of innocence, and no deference to claims that he has the right to govern. 4/

How would you argue that someone is guilty before they have been judged in a court of law? How is he not legitimate if he was elected?

By violating the emoluments clause (since Inauguration Day) and obstructing justice, he has violated the Constitution. Hence, illegitimate.

Break it down. "Legitimate" is a variation of the word "legal" - sharing the Latin root "lex". So "illegitimate" is a way to say "illegal".

In my view, Trump was legitimate - however vile - as of his election. But since then, having broken the "lex," he has become illegitimate.

If he has nothing to hide, then why try to halt investigations? Yates, Bharara, Comey all fired. Blocking = obstruction of justice.
